The original building dates back to the fifteenth century. Listed originally as at Harham in S&P document covering years of November 1837 - November 1851. The property was described as a free house; this was first supplied 1837 - 1838. Elizabeth Precious married Charles Riches in 1839. Charles Riches is listed as being a farmer at Hargham in 1841 and also as being a farmer at West Carr in 1851. In 1854 he is given a beerhouse, most likely to be this establishment; the records showing that Charles Riches was most likely living in the building.
The White Lodge offers two bar areas, a bistro, a climate controlled restaurant and a large function room; available for all occasions inc. engagements, weddings, birthdays, christenings and private parties. In the grounds of the complex there is a childrens play area and facilities for camping, whether in a tent, caravan or a motor home you'll be well catered for.
We provide live music in the main bar every Thursday, its free entry and everyone is welcome. The White Lodge in Attleborough is the venue for many events, inc. rallys and meeting points. With our large grounds we are able to host a large selection of events. If you would like to hold an event here, please call or e-mail us.
