The White
Lodge building dates from 15th Century. Listed as at Hargham in S&P
document covering years November 1837 to November 1851. Property
described as Freehouse, First Supplied 1837-1838. Elizabeth Precious
married Charles Riches in 1839. Charles Riches is given as a Farmer at
Hargham in 1841 and as a Farmer at West carr in 1851. In 1854 he is
given a beerhouse, most likely to be this establishment.
Current Landlords, Alfred & Pamela Skeels has kept with the
traditional feel and welcomes their customers with comfort and good
quality food.
The White Lodge offers 2 Bar Areas, a bistro, a climate controlled
restaurant and a large function room, available for all occasions,
including Engagements, Weddings, Birthdays, Christenings and Private
Parties.
In the grounds of the complex there is a children's play area and
facilities for Camping, whether in a tent or a motor home, you will
be well catered for.
