The White Lodge building dates from 15th Century. Listed as at Hargham in S&P document covering years November 1837 to November 1851. Property described as Freehouse, First Supplied 1837-1838. Elizabeth Precious married Charles Riches in 1839. Charles Riches is given as a Farmer at Hargham in 1841 and as a Farmer at West Carr in 1851. In 1854 he is given a beerhouse, most likely to be this establishment.
Current Landlords, Terry & Carol has kept with the traditional feel and welcomes their customers with comfort and good quality food.
 
The White Lodge offers 2 Bar Areas, a bistro, a climate controlled restaurant and a large function room, available for all occasions, including Engagements, Weddings, Birthdays, Christenings and Private Parties.
